To Live Long, Alcohol Is Better Than Exercise!

Science Says To Live Longer, Alcohol Is Better Than Exercise???

Exercise…. probably on of the most common word right now. There is always a new fitness tip ranging from body building to modelling exercises. Some people including me are of the assumption that if you want to live long, happy fulfilled and have more vibes in life, exercise is the way. And now all of a sudden, they(scientist) come with the theory that to live long, exercise ain’t the way, alcohol is…This is so unbelievable. I mean like seriously, it’s a big shock to me and other exercise loving people out there.

Exercise which has indisputably been a source of motivation to the modern man as it helps in achieving a lot of things like burning body fat, feeling refreshed, even as a source of income to those that own and work in the gym.

While on the other hand, whenever drinking is mentioned, it is hardly thought or even used in the good context, it is mostly has to do with the abusive aspect of it. we have continually heard about the dangers of drinking alcohol. From the health implications of continuous and regular consumption of alcohol such as it’s effects on the organs of the body, to the social implications of affecting the relationships between alcoholics and their friends and families, alcohol has been demonized in a lot of ways.

However, in what seems like the best news we have heard in a while, new research suggests that if you want to live long into your 90s, moderate alcohol consumption may be your best bet instead of exercise.

How It Happened

The research conducted by University of California neurologist Claudia Kawas tracked 1,700 people in their 90s beginning in 2003 to examine how certain daily habits affected longevity. The researchers found that people that drank about two glasses of beer or wine per day were 18 percent less likely to experience a premature death.

Furthermore, the researchers found that test subjects who exercised between 15 to 45 minutes per day only reduced the risk of premature death by 11 percent.

More so, participants in the study who were slightly overweight reduced their odds by 3 percent, and those who drank two cups of coffee a day cut their risk by 10 percent.

With the results of this research, you may want to consider drinking alcohol moderately to live longer as it shows that it may be more profitable to do so than to exercise!.

So based on this, drinking alcohol is permitted but should be done moderately or you might just wake up and find yourself actually dead. Have a nice day.
